I enjoy the concept of niche tourism.

If someone is interested in mediaval temples of West bengal and treasures of Calcutta and her Art Galleries , please contact me.

Please refer to my hubs on these subjects.

how much money do you recommend per week as a backpacker in india

Akshay Chhugani 2 years ago

The money factor actually depends on the city you choose to backpack to.....most of the metropolitan cities like Mumbai,Delhi and Bengaluru tend to cost higher....to get a rough idea of it check this link....i hop it can help you to plan you travel budget while backpacking in India.

It's possible to spend less than £45 a week backpacking in India ($70). And thats including beer, bed, travel, transport, food and everything else you may need.

When you start going to the more touristy places such as Goa then you should expect to pay nearly double that.
